Our Mission

To provide a forum for formal and informal educators to develop and exchange strategies to encourage learning and stewardship of marine and aquatic ecosystems.

Join a Network of Educators

SWMEA brings formal classroom educators and informal marine/aquatic educators together where ideas, resources, and experiences are shared amongst members. Whether you're teaching science in a classroom, walking students through water quality at the nearby lake, or educating the public about marine life, SWMEA is for you! Meet other educators who share a passion teaching about the world of water and creating other passionate individuals through the power of education.
