Whether you're teaching science in a classroom, walking students through water quality at the nearby lake, or educating the public about marine life, SWMEA is for you! Meet other educators who share a passion teaching about the world of water and creating other passionate individuals through the power of education.

Join SWMEA at this upcoming Educator Workshop!

This upcoming educator workshop dives into the framework of Ocean Literacy to help you gain a deeper understanding of teaching and learning about the ocean with a focus on high leverage and evidence-based practices. This workshop will be held at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco on Saturday, November 15, from 8:30AM to 2:30PM. Register by November 5 to reserve your spot!

All participants will receive free entrance into the Academy and a Handbook for Increasing Ocean Literacy: Tools for Educators and other Ocean Advocates. Light refreshments will also be provided.
